Thanks folks, I found an article that makes it look like I can do this myself if I can find correct paint ,primer and clear coat. There are no mobile wheel repair businesses here in the sticks and this is our only car so the wheel will be repaired while on the car at home.

Today I was turning right into a parking lot and whacked my rt rear wheel against a high curb carving a nickel sized chip out of the silver paint revealing gloss black underneath. No rash beyond the chip. tire holding air. Can I buy matching silver wheel touch up paint any where ?

I had that happen a few times when I still had lane keeping assist on. I did not like the computer moving my steering wheel when I was driving the twisties so I turned off lane keeping. No more messages about my driving habits since then. At the time when I started noticing my steering wheel...

I too ordered front only Husky X-Act-Contour mats two days ago.

I've driven my stock gt several times in the rain in sport mode. No problems at all but I don't get crazy with the gas pedal.

There is a utube video on how to change the pony emblem without taking off the bumper, It looks very easy, I have lost the link to the video but will look for it today or you can. Definitely do not have to remove the bumper. Look like a 15 minute job.

I can't find a way to include the transmission temp. to the list in "guage details' that appears in the middle of my dash behind the steering wheel. Is this because I have a manual shift GT ?

Mine seems to be the opposite. It feels like sometimes I am letting out the clutch too late and miss the match. I am considering turning off the auto blip and trying to rev match on my own.

traded in a 2019 base Stingray. My first Corvette. Unfortunately it was an automatic and did not have active exhaust. Also I worried about the 4 cylinder part time engine.

I received my black and yellow Ca. heritage license plats and put them on my 2024 GT. Had to give up my attitude and go with the front plate. Now that that is done I can forget about it and move on.

Go to a good paint store and give them the pain code from the driver side door jam. They will mix your color. I had to buy a 4 ounce minimum for $16 for my carbonized grey metallic.

That was my experience also when buying a new gt. Whatever the reason the dealer was not telling why it was necessary.
