Not really. It’s an actual 2K catalyzed clear coat, not a ceramic coating. Most modern vehicles already have a factory clear coat over the base paint. People use satin clear to change the sheen/finish — like turning gloss black into satin black — while also adding protection and durability.

This is the product. Supposedly the best clear coat option offered out of a spray can.
