Honestly, this will depend on your dealership but if ford gets involved in on site diagnosis its game over. Here is what Ford says:
Damage Caused by Alteration or Modification
The New Vehicle Limited Warranty does not cover any damage caused by:
• alterations or modifications of the vehicle...
LOL. You just lost your warranty and some horsepower. Good job. For anyone else if you buy the high flow air filters alone you will gain more HP and save money.
I got 1.2G on a launch once when I was stock with 6 speed manual using launch control. I am tuned on e85 now and cant bang off another 1.2, usually around 1.15. That 1.2G launch I dead hooked like no other time.
There is an attachment for the top screw that comes with the flaps, just follow the instructions and you wont have issues. Use the smaller silver washer for the top screw is my only tip.
How many miles you got on that thing? If less than few thousand do a couple hard runs 0-160 . If it does not stop the oil burn take it to ford for compression/leak down test. You should be able to push for a new engine after.
So what if I only have 5 posts? Are only people with 10,000 posts approved around here? Its not a troll when its reality. No stock s650 by any magazine/car review has run 11.9, while its well documented for s550s...
cope and jealousy? You guys are coping with your slower cars. Its a downgrade from the Mach 1, why would I downgrade? I beat every s650 10 speed I come across with a manual s550. You guys cant even keep up with a stock s550 or an EV that runs same time as stock s550.
I see defeat among s650 owners. S550s 10 speeds have run 11.9 stock since 2018. Same time as this EV boat. Tune only mustangs with tires are running low 11s.....Nothing the s550 cant handle. Personally I look forward to beating on them this summer in my tuned manual s550 aka Tesla killa!
Stock s550 was tested at 11.9, which car publication has ran 11.9 in stock s650?
