A caveat….you might want to shorten the sidewall height a little on the fronts, mine rub a tiny bit at end of track when coming down and hitting a bump. Has never hurt anything, just a very minor rub here and there at the end of the track.

My fronts are Weld Ventura 20x5 rims with Bridgestone Ecopia 175/55 R20 tires. My rears are Weld Ventura Beadlocks 18x10 with Mickey Thompson ET Street R Drag Radial P305/45 R18, no spacers. Hope that helps.

3.250 pulley and Renegade RM 109 race fuel.

Finally, the weather has cleaned itself up enough to get back on the track. After a couple of short lived track visits at the end of last year and a few small mods over winter it was time to try again. Here’s to a good, clean and fun year in 2025!!

Can't speak to whether replacing one vs replacing 2 causes imbalance (because I had both replaced) but can definitely speak to the Dark Horse. If you are whippled, I recommend 100% replacing the half shafts if you are going to drag race with a drag pack. If not racing with the car, probably...

Here's the video of the broken half shaft, you can see and hear it go about 2 seconds in when the car sits back up with my foot on the floor.....I did manage to get the 60 ft time which was my best time to date on that data point.....

To everyone’s point, not saying you have to replace them, just thought it was prudent while the engine was that far down. Guess no reason not to, even if not really necessary. I didn’t want to look back and be that ‘one’ guy that actually had a problem…..lol. Cheap insurance might be a better...

Sorry, we changed the crank gear as well.

We changed the OPG’s when we installed the whipple. Just good preventative maintenance while you’re that far down.

PS, going with G Force Outlaws now and replacing the drive shaft while we’re there just for preventative maintenance.

Yes sir, driver side half popped. Track was prepped awesomely. Everything was sticking tight. It broke on shift between gears. Wish I would’ve already replaced before hand….but alas
