Very cool and can't wait to meet everyone, I also roped a buddy in so we'll have a good group. She usually makes it and loves taking the car out on the parade laps but Thursday's are her long surgery days and I can never pull her away from those...but I'll still try.
The track is about the only...
I'm thinking about it this year as I missed my normal March Daytona dates because of a wedding. Haven't run with TNIA in several years though as I got used to the 6 x 30 min sessions per day and going back to 3 x 25 min sessions always leaves me wanting more! I saw they have morning and...
Everyone at the road courses I go to is trying to race me and I love it! Nothing like putting a gap on a car with 200 more HP that costs twice as much or more, that feeling can't be replicated on the street so I don't even bother trying.
Was just at Sebring again 2 weeks ago, suck a great and challenging track I love it and can't get enough. I really try working on just 1 or 2 turns each time as there's so much to take in...and the most important part of any track day, having fun!
If you think Sebring was bad just wait until you try it at Daytona!
At 160 mph I thought my S550 hood was going to "leave the chat" as my kids would say. It never did though but the amount it moved was crazy and it sounds like the DH is the same.
The dealer let you driver the car home after the purchase even though it had an active recall? He wasn't supposed to do that and probably did you a favor seeing how far you drove to buy that particular car.(he probably won't be doing that for the next guy) Now he's doing everything he can to...
I wonder why on some of the upshifts it's cracking and snappy like a dual clutch and on other upshifts it's mild and slow like a slush box. Same RPM, throttle input, gear, ext. from the gauges but I wonder what the difference is? Maybe he's manual shifting some gears and it's shifting some auto?
It would be cool if you(or a tuner) could eventually program those paddles to do something. The manual SS 1LE's all come with paddles but they are the auto rev-match on/off buttons so something like that.
I think I get what the OP is saying. I've test driven 3 different versions of the '24 now(GT, GT PP1, and a DH) and they all drive just like my '18 S550. I guess I'm just looking for something different than what I had 3 years ago and each time I end up walking away feeling meh.
I do agree that a 4 door RWD V8 Charger like car could be successful in Ford's lineup like the Challenger/Charger were for so long...Imagine if Dodge called both a Challenger though, so you could get a Challenger or a Challenger Charger 4. Seems stupid IMO to do that with the Mustang as Ford has...
Why would you need an off-road baja mustang when you sell a Bronco? Or a Mach 4 when you sell(or try at least) a Mach E 4 Door Mustang and sedans are dead. Double facepalm!
Very sorry to here that and hopefully you're enjoying the new mustang vert.
Maybe when you get a chance you can let us know your pro's and con's of making the ZL1 to GT swap. Sounds like now is a little to early for that though.
