Fair enough, my guess is there's a 90% chance of getting nothing, 5% getting something small but cool like a new GTD lap time, and 5% there's some huge surprises like here's that raptor, or sedan you've heard about.
I haven't seen anything, but I hope it's a fun event. The only other automotive event going on right now is the NY auto show and it has possibly the worst series of car designs shown in any single auto show in the history of the industry. Every.
I'm hoping we get some sort of good/fun news as...
My guess is this comes the next generation. Ford has talked about how mustang's best days are ahead, and how they plan on doubling down on it just as others are leaving the sports coupe segment. This, paired with Ford CEO Jim Farley who's a race car driver himself talking about how he wanted to...
This might be the best color the mustang has ever had, certainly the best color on the s650. I can't get enough of these fun colors, I'll be hopefully buying an s650 in the near future, and this color is basically a must for me.
It's gonna be a fun comparison for sure, I'm just really happy both these cars exist to be honest. The ZR1 will take it on the straights for sure, but will it overcome the cornering advantage of the GTD? That will remain to be seen.
It is worth noting while the GTD is more of a handling car...
I will agree on that. I kinda hate this trend with logo design, and design in general right now, where people suck all the character out and then talk about how it's a bold statement or some other pretentious shit.
Not gonna lie, the c8 zo6 apparently put down a 7:10. I can see the zr1 getting a sub 7 maybe, but I don't believe it'll have the finesse to match the GTD around the corners. Less downforce, worse tires, worse weight distribution, and 200 more horses running through the rear wheels. My guess is...
If this puts down a 6:45 or even a high 6:40, everyone who trashed talked this thing will need to STFU lol. This is epic, a great time to be a mustang fan.
With them going all out right now, I wonder if the plan is to get a better time to give mustang fans a little extra something to celebrate on the 17th for the mustang's birthday.
The filmer estimates that it ran a 6:45. That thing is moving, appears to be going faster than previous clips, even in ones with good weather. I don't know if it's because the driver is more comfortable with the car now, or if they made some tweaks and improvements to it to make it handle even...
Car designers work super far ahead, so they definitely already have the refresh designed. My guess is we'll see prototypes this year, and the next gen mustang is probably in the advanced design studio.
I genuinely don't see why this is such a turn off. The only iffy thing is the front split and that's gonna be gone if this makes it to production. I personally find this striking, and attractive on a level we've never seen with corvette before.
I'm kinda stunned people don't seem to like it. Then again, I firmly believe one of the reasons you guys don't like it is because of how different it is to the c8. We see this same cycle with almost every new car design, it comes out, people hate it, it gradually grows on them, they start to...
I know it's radical, but look at it this way, if you're GM, where do you take the Corvette from here? C8 was all about the mid-engine layout, but beyond that, it seems like they didn't want to rock the boat any harder than they had to, which is why it's basically c7 design language on a...
Additionally my friend, if you look at a c3, you'll see it has a lot on common with this design if you look at things like the sexy curves, especially around the wheel arches where both designs get very curvy, the fact that it looks like an actual stingray, and the arrow shaped leading edge on...
