Nothing! (at least according to me) I love them and I've had people admire my "big brake package". I love their disbelieve when I tell them they are just covers. Hehe.
I was just adding some humor:
Making fun of my covers - allowed
Politics - not allowed
:)
I've asked for this thread to be removed. You can make fun of my caliper covers, but if I wanted to see stuff about politics (I don't), there are plenty of other places I could go.
If you are concerned, order the covers.
Very easy to install
You can barely see them once installed
You can remove them before you sell it (if you want)
I had them on my 2015 for 9 years and they never started to peel off
Yes... and lane assist, yes, intervenes when you get to close to the lane marking.
Lane Keeping keeps you dead center. I've tested it with my hands hovering above the wheel and through all but the sharpest curves, it performs wonderfully.
If you have Lane Keeping on, you will never "bounce"...
This exactly. Not sure how some are using lane keeping and not getting the message. Today it was chilly (for FL) so I was fully taking advantage of the heated steering wheel. Still.... stupid warning. Well, let me rephrase - it isn't a stupid message if your hands are off the wheel. It's a...
Do you have "Lane Keeping" on? What that on, the car holds dead center of the lane... on straights, through curves...
With "Lane Assist" on, it'll bounce back and forth between the lines.
"Lane Keeping" is awesome... except for the stupid warning. Tried it again going to work this...
Thank you for the clarification! I kept seeing "matte" here on the forum, but unless I missed it, it doesn't say "matte" anywhere on your site... just HD and Anti-Glare. I'll be ordering matte soon!
One month of not using 93 and these will basically be free! (sorry, couldn't help it)
Happy New Year!
I removed all signs of double-sided tape both from the new spoiler and the car. This was the most time-consuming part of the entire install, but worth it to me. I used one of the ends of the plastic removal tools in the one link below and Goo Gone. Spray it on, let it sit...
I skimmed it for now and they talk about horsepower and acceleration times. Maybe you'll get a slight increase on the track. MPG? I didn't see any more... still right around 21.5-22.0.
This stood out for me, though:
Stephen Russ, senior technical leader for gas engines at Ford, says this...
I'm still in the middle of my month-long test (although I am going to end it). I was trying soooo hard to see a difference in anything. But, I'm on my third tank of 93 and there is zero, zero, zero difference in anything I can feel or detect.
So... I gave it a good try, but nothing will...
