That is incorrect. I worked for both Ford and a Ford dealership. Without a direct case to refer to, you would require need progressive damage. If an engine has an exhaust leak, was the carbon trap involved? No. If an engine has a valve drop, was the Carbon trap involved? No. It has to be...
@Interstellar Took a bit. All I could remember is how it went on and the color of the car. Probably saw this 2 months ago. Turned out to be a Nytop diffuser. Should be a similar install process. It is around the middle of the video.
I saw someone on here that added that to their car. They posted a video and It just sticks to the OEM diffuser panel. Adding to it. It is not a single replacement piece. Not my cup of tea, but was pretty slick in design.
There is a Forscan section in the forum. We have all been using it for quite a while. I modified some things as early as Dec of 23. It probably worked before that. Just because it says it isn’t supported doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. That means the Forscan team isn’t giving customer support...
OEMs use specific fuel when testing. My experience really comes from emissions testing with Ford so I carry that thought process over to HP ratings. They don’t get their fuel from a local pump. The fuel is ordered to the specs they determine. Octane / Cetane / Ethanol or no ethanol / etc….
It's not a 2003.25 6.0L. So I'm not complaining. I lived that life like no other. 120+ running changes on the engine alone to 2004 and even more to 2005.
I had this happen two weeks ago on a rental vert in Atlanta. It was the first morning I drove the car. Chalked it up to a glitch. Drove to my place of work with it blank. I used Google maps to monitor my speed , went to leave around 4pm and it booted up and was working just fine...
If you're that far North where cold weather is an issue (-22F or -30C) , then why wouldn't you opt for 0W30? The 5W20 just creates a thinner viscosity at temp. This could give you issues such as poor fuel economy, premature engine wear, and overheating issues if you run your car hard. It just...
Didn’t know they dropped it for 2025. As a 2024 owner that is a good thing. The aftermarket will pounce a little harder and faster on the opportunity. Maybe they will also sell a retro fit kit for the poor performing existing setup.
On the OP post, , try it without a case for a day or so. I...
I installed this one. Looks great, easy to do.
Come back to find it hanging / dangling off of my car at the airport parking garage here in Houston one week. I’m not 100% sure if it was someone messing with it or it gave out on me. I assume it was someone messing with it because the adhesive...
You had me till you said you used BG. After working for Ford as a diesel rep and at a dealer as a parts manager their products are just for making gross. Inexpensive products some for a premium plus service to unknowing owners. Brake flushes, injector flushes, EGR cleaning, premium fuel...
That’s what a lot of people on here have done and it is probably the best method.
I had my rims sitting in the garage for 2 months before I mounted them and should have done that myself, but didn’t. I’ll probably pick a can of this up and try it in the future. Currently I applied Chemical...
