just passing along a few tips that I use, trying to help. It has been my experience in life that it is extremely rare for people to “just do their jobs” for at least the past 15 years. Keeping a watchful eye on folks working on your pride and joy can keeps mishaps to a minimum.
Dealerships are terrible. Worse than drive in style “Jiffy Lube” type places. My advice, if doing it yourself if not feasible….establish a relationship with a Jiffy Lube type place near you. Here are some key points on Doing this…..
1) get to know the guys by BS a bit and stay with your car...
I find that a little dawn in a spray bottle with water, Spray Away glass cleaner can replace all the interior cleaning products and save you money in the process. Lots of detailing products are nothing more than a marketing ploy.
Looking at a 24 GT…..msrp 54k….dealer has it listed 4k off sticker. Is it just me or is this a terrible deal? I read a lot about these s650 tanking in value when Guys trade them in or sell them.….like losing 20k over the course of a few months. It seems to me that the entire car market is due...
