I don’t trust a brand new 1K hp Chevy FPC Ferrari copy paste engine.

@MAT1955 i can recall dozens of coyotes that cracked a piston, broke a ringland etc…
I can barely remember 1 that a rod gave up and windowed the block, unless it was in conjunction with losing a piston.
that was my only point, pistons and ring gaps are the weak point here… not rods..

I’m dumbfounded how strong that S58 motor is.
Options don’t add a ton to value after the initial buy, also convertibles in general are always hit the hardest…
my 24GT was 43k… so different options packages but it’s the same car.
also by trying to sell within the 1st few years, you are eating maximum depreciation.
The tuning is gonna unlock HP just by extending redline to 8K no doubt..
The other big thing will be reducing tq limits in the trans and shift points..
so redline gains aside, even if there is no HP/TQ gains, there is 4-5 tenths in trans tuning on the table fairly easily
I did NOT think it was gonna take this long at all, hearing the 25s have a dual encryption strategy, so those are going to be even harder.
really just get the whipple, I’m on their new 2nd tune and the car is just such an animal
I picked up 4MPH and over 3tenths…
thats a lot closer to 40RWHP not on a dyno, but average track runs.
It was my 3rd mod after springs and spacers… no better bang for your buck.
Not sure why they only gained 12whp on the dyno but track MPH don’t lie.
