For all we know, a Ford employee could be reading this thread, thinking about the irony in the way this conversation redirected itself.
Unless they've forgotten that MPG is the name of the game for ICE engines, I personally doubt Ford is stupid enough to leave Ecoboost owners out in the dust...
I'm not pretending to know anything, so don't take this as a fact - notice how the front bumper isn't as reflective. We already know that the bumpers and the body are not made of the same material; perhaps that has something to do with it?
You may make money on it in decades to come, if it becomes a highly sought-after car. Bear in mind that this car didn't sell out at all, let alone as quickly as other low-volume specialties. And this isn't exactly a huge specialty.
The 60th Anniversary in BB is a very beautiful car - congrats...

Given the number of prototypes that I have seen in this color already, I'm very surprised that there are not any spy shots by now. I'd assume this Mustang is one of them what with the lineup of manufacturer-plated vehicles in the background.
The best way I can describe the...
...So there's low availability on standard DH wheels and they're naturally not producing 67P orders until April. Sounds like getting a Dark Horse is going to be problematic if you want an S-chassis quickly.
Uh huh. Interesting.
If there's an Ecoboost hybrid running around Dearborn, it's reasonable to assume there's a GT hybrid somewhere as well. Where there's smoke, there's fire.
Pure speculation here - I don't see them putting the hybrid tech on the GT V8, as that would make it more powerful...
I don't want to pretend like I know what the exact losses are per component, but I'd like to imagine removing the wheels probably doesn't have a huge effect? Maybe 3% difference, I'd guess.
Either way, I still think the numbers are much higher than what was stated, so overall positive.
320kw = ~429.127 Metric HP, / 98% to convert to Imperial HP = ~437.88 brake horsepower.
Divide by 486, since this particular car has active exhaust, and that's only a ~10.1% loss in power through the drivetrain. Impressive.
Admittedly I was one of those people... 😅
The teaser had specified that it was going to be a Mustang GT, and while I hadn't voiced that concern I figured there was no way it would be a sedan. But now this is a direct slap in the face from Ford with a reminder to keep an open mind.
Do any of you suppose, akin to the way the GTD leaked 2 days before the reveal, that this sudden wave of information might have something to do with the event tomorrow?
It sounds like this issue is occurring because CarPlay is overriding the SYNC system when your iPhone pairs, correct? If that's true, do this while CarPlay is running.
Home Button --> Settings --> Phone List --> Tap the phone, media, or CarPlay button next to your phone's name
Following the...
Before I proceed, I want to make it clear that I'm not trying to argue or detract from anything you're saying. Genuinely just a curious forum user who has some thoughts and ideas, is all.
I'll say that I'm very familiar with the area and I'm also very familiar with the industry, hence some of...
My hypothesis is based on the idea that Ford could be testing main components in isolation. I'd like to assume that if Ford were testing something inconsequential/low-impact to the overall drivability of the car, they could just toss it in a TT build and not say anything until the next...
While I can't quite place my finger on where this photo was taken in the region it does look incredibly familiar. If I had to guess, this is close to/within the vicinity of a major East/West running interstate on the south end.
This is definitely a GTD mule; However I find it unlikely that Ford...
For what it's worth, I did a small amount of searching and found a real photo example of Molten Magenta on Ford's website: https://www.ford.com/cars/mustang/features/design/
The shade is much darker than Rapid Red, looks to be akin to the skin of an apple:
I agree with others; this color...
Respectfully, I disagree with most of what you said.
I love the way the S650 looks. The car has some pretty outstanding road presence and I can pick it out easily amongst a large group of cars. That said, the GT has ascended into Dark Horse price levels, and that's not where it should be for...
