DH hits the sweet spot in my opinion

I liked the Dark Horse idea with the logo's etc but I disliked the front of the car and really liked the front of the GT so I went with the GT.

I thought the same, by the time I configured the GT premium with performance pkg, and the opinions i wanted it was close enough to the Dark Horse in price to go for it.

I initially reached that conclusion but then found I could get a lot more off MSRP with the GT, which tilted me back in that direction. Even so, if I wanted a manual or planned to track the car I would have gotten a DH.

I agree with the “sweet spot” conclusion. I use my DH as a daily driver. It has 500 HP….an absolute massive amount of power….i got the thing for 75k out the door with all taxes and fees. Just a hell of a deal all things considered. The SC adds hundreds of HP, tens of thousands of dollars; and takes away the manual. Ehh…no thanks.

Ya it took awhile they all the dealers used same line "this is a limited car" which really its not. I do want to track just haven't yet.

It is very limited in my area. Not taking the dealer side on this. But they are very limited.

It is a limited car. Most dealers get allocation for one or two per model year.

If you don't believe me, call around and ask dealers if they have allocation for a Dark Horse.

At this time of year, most have said they can place the order, but it will be a MY 2027 at this point and won't arrive until fall.

To be fair, a GT with a performance package might be ever rarer in my area.

I had been watching the market for 6 months before pulling the trigger,... a DH with handling package never showed up on the lots. Still isn't available 2 months later. I guess Colorado has more money than the rest of the country.
