Here's one of THE most useful changes I've made so far.
In some countries it's mandatory to have above mentioned settings to switch back to "On" after each new start of the engine.

So with the following changes that annoyance is history!

IPMA
706-02-01: "xxxx" "xxxx" "x1--"
706-05-01: "x4x0" "xxxx" "xx--"

Edit: There was a third line which did not have to be changed.

Enjoy your new life with the Gen7 Mustang!

Fortunately, TĂśV (for mandatory biennial technical inspections in Germany for those wondering) don't test drive the cars on the streets.
Although I guess some inspectors whish they had to :)

Can confirm, my car is a European one.
First code changes Lane Keep System Ignition On strategy.
In this case, strategy is "keep last setting".

if you only turn off the audio warning and the traffic sign symbol is visible they won't suspect. They do however check now if the symbol is there as it is a homologation requirement. Same like checking E-Call. They won't make a call but the indicator cannot be faulty.

What settings does this keep on exactly? Just saw this thread mentioned from different post.

Keeps them off... Lane keeping and speed warning.

Applicable to non US cars.

First one remembers the status of the lane keep assistant.
Second line sets it to one press activation and changes speed warning chime default to off.

Third line turned out to be unnecessary, so I just edited the original post.
It was reset with an Softwareupdate while lane keep and speed warning still worked as described.

out of curiosity but is it possible to "defang" the speed warning? I dont mind a gentle ding on speed limit change or going over the speed limit. but as far as I can see it isnt even possible to increase the limits to +5 or even +10 and it is just all around obnoxious.

in default config it starts dinging the moment you are +1 too fast. when you continue to drive too fast it starts beeping. really loud. and at some time it stops until the next time you hit the limit.

I would check these two things in the IPC:

1781020596761-px.webp

TSR Overspeed also needs to be disabled in the APIM:

1781020779239-x2.webp

In the APIM, there is also a setting for a chime when there is a speed limit change that can be disabled.

1781020916713-o5.webp

I would just turn all that crap off, but that's just me.
