I recently saw another thread on here of the same theme and felt inspired to share my journey thus far!

As the title suggests, I’m almost 2 years (21 months) deep in ownership of my ‘24 GT. I just got into the office and got it up to 33,645 miles on the way in.

I bought it new in 2024 and traded in my Toyota Avalon, being 23 at the time, it felt unbelievable doing that (and still does).

Since buying, I added a GT500 style wing from Steeda, MP concepts front lip (after another was destroyed by northern VA snow), Valvetronic Catback, K&N intakes, and most recently a set of Apex SM-10s.

As it sits, the car is kinda in its final form for now, I have some 20mm spacers I may try on the front for more aggressive fitment but otherwise no plans other than big dreams of suspension parts and brakes in the far future. In the meantime, I’ll keep loving it as is!

(Pictures attached are all by me - if you’re in the Northern, VA area feel free to DM me if you’d want to do a short shoot, no charge just for the love of the game!)

Nice. She's looking good for 33k. Rocking the Mustang GT in NoVA traffic is a feat itself. In snowfall - bold move.
Is it still 5 hours of rush hour per day?

Looking good. What are the specs/info on the wheels/tires. Nice setup. Are the pics with or without spacers?

Thanks! Luckily I don’t commute towards DC regularly but traffic is still pretty bad if I ever have to make my way into the city. Surprisingly, on all-seasons it handles the snow pretty well as long as you’re light on the throttle!

Appreciate it! The tires on right now are Continental Extreme Contacts DWS06, 285/35/R19. Wheels are Apex SM-10 in Anthracite, 19x10 +40 offset, square setup. Right now I have no spacers on, the rear fitment is mint but I feel the fronts could use a little more width for the stance so may try on some 20mm spacers I’ve been sitting on for a while, will update if I do!

I got mine since July 2025, not driven in winter. So -3 month of none driving to now. So approx. 5 months of driving, 8 month of ownership. I have 13k km. Not my daily. Makes me a bit worried I will reach the 25k by end of this year. Well what to do.

I am loving the car stock as it is. Only full PPF from day 1, I am so happy about.

This summer me, my wife and our 4x4 living creature all of us going for 2 weeks holiday with just tent and sleeping bags what I call “Freestyle” holiday. Austrian, Italian and Swiss Alps should it be, maybe Croatia, maybe Netherlands sea side.. There, wherever we feel to go after morning coffee, off we go decided that moment after camping night. No exact destination or planning.

Cannot wait. The car makes my life as it is my first new car for me ever. We sacrificed a lot for it and the more I take care of it, appreciating it.
I am hoping to make near 1/2 mil km if possible, or at least 400k and if not, I am already saving for new crate engine with 10r80, as this garaged stang is getting hardly aged body damage so far and way too many miles too fast….

Impossible to leave it alone for more than few days…

Nope not yet - I had a set of Steeda Progressive Sport Lowering Springs but never had them installed because of the cost and ended up selling them. Would love to go down around an inch but no plans at this time for it.
