Not today but Saturday, only got online today.
New windshield went on. Rock hit the passenger side, low and on the edge, and that resulted in an over foot long crack. Replaced with OEM windshield. Recalibration of the camera and electronics completed successfully and nice clean windshield now...
Called my insurance company. Getting my replacement windshield Saturday morning. Every day the crack grows bigger, moving up almost to the middle of the windshield today.
Not today but Friday - washed the car to get ready for a trip to the drag strip yesterday (Saturday). As I was cleaning he windshield a "glint" caught my eye coming around to the passenger side. Apparently a rock hit me at some time right on the edge of the windshield and now there is a crack...
Did an oil change on it, and emptied the air/oil separator catch can. After 6,000 miles the can was about 3/4 full.
I need to pull the air filters off this afternoon and wash them.
My pre-collision stuff rarely goes off. It is much less sensitive than my wife's Lincoln. The only time I've ever felt the auto braking was during the Mustang Unleashed program when they had us using the "balloon car" to get a feel for the auto braking. If your car is braking suddenly with...
It looks like this is finally figured out. I scheduled the car back in again after it tripped the CEL once again with the underspray. A couple of days later the light went off, after I was able to accelerate getting on the highway at WOT up to a little over 80 mph. The Saturday before the...
The "hard buttons" on my wife's Lincoln don't require me to take my eyes off the road. If I want to turn the heated sets off or on, or the heated steering wheel off or on, I just need to reach over and I can feel the button and push it. If I want to hang the phone up, I just have to move my...
Drove it and washed it. It sat at the dealer for almost 2 weeks while they figured out why I keep getting the CEL for exhaust emission sensors; they gave me a nice F150 as a loaner because it has gone back so many times for the sensors. They thought they were going to have to replace the...
The only issue with that is I drive year round and with road salt like to get it cleaned off! It seems that the sensors should be able to handle the spray. I've never had a car give me an issue in the past. My wife's Lincoln goes in every week, with underspray, and has never had an issue.
It keeps coming up that they are showing "an electrical concern with one of the exhaust emission sensors".
All three times it happened after I used a car wash with underspray. In August it was the driver side rear sensor. That one stayed reporting for about a week before they got it in and...
In August I had to have the emission sensor on the driver side replaced - I was driving home from a day at Gingerman and the CEL tripped. I believe it was the downstream sensor that time.
Then about 6 weeks ago I had ANOTHER one this time on the passenger side. Once again, CEL for exhaust...
