You can definitely get this protected with a satin/matte PPF like XPEL Stealth. As long as it is a good product and quality installation, I wouldn't worry too much about it peeling any paint once removed as long as you don't keep the film on past its usable life.
These things are a life saver. NOCO makes a solid product but they can be pricey. I have two of them that I've been using for about 5 years and they work and hold a charge like they're still new. So much more convenient and safe not having to connect two cars for a jump.

I just recently had an AWE Switchpath installed on my GT Premium. You can definitely hear it in all modes and either seat lol. If it’s non active, I would lean to AWE Touring. Not too familiar with the Stainless Works system though. Good luck with whichever you decide!
I’m not 100% sure on this. I can check with one of the intstallers and get back to you if it’s not too late. I do know that ideally you don’t want any wax or sealant on the surface to ensure it tacks properly.

About a day should be fine, as long as it’s in an environment that allows it to cure properly.
Once it dries, there should be no issue with the paint washing away. The solution used for slip is basically soap and the tack solution is usually diluted alcohol.
It’s totally fine to PPF over rock chips. Sometimes it does make them appear more noticeable because you’re essentially placing a glossy clear film on top.
As someone stated above, you can do touch up before putting on the PPF but it has to cure first. You can also put touch up paint on top...
