There are three sets of files that you need for programming and a file you need for AsBuilt data. You are flashing the software for the HCM, LDCMA, and LDCMB modules.
Ensure there are no DTCs or annotate which DTCs are there if you don't want to clear them.
Download the current software for...
Essentially, yes. The white DRLs turn Amber. There are two different ways it can be done. If you use the DH SC files, you get Amber DRLs and Amber Grille lights. If you use the GTD files, you get the Amber DRLs and the Grille lights are extinguished. Your actual headlights are unchanged.
The catch with this is you have to complete the entire process or there may be issues. For some, not flashing the HCM has caused issues where the lights don't turn off, or you get DTCs that you can't clear.
If anyone needs help, or the files, Jared Jones, VaporGT5.0, and myself run a discord that has the necessary files you need, but the files, videos, and documentation we make are supposed to stay in Discord.
The reason for this is not to gatekeep. I pull a lot of VBFs using my FDRS account for...
Just my opinion, please get a MPVI if you are going HPTuners. $100 more, but you get the same features, in addition to being able to read/write/log from a laptop. They are literally the exact same piece of equipment, but the computer program only allows the MPVI to write to the car.
Tuner can...
This is from my stock file. Personally, I was just thinking of using a restore file from someone with a PP and putting that in there since the oil cooler comes stock with them.
Also, just to spread around knowledge, there is a tab for this in VCM Editor Beta. You just have to change the tables. Could probably use the tables from a stock PP Mustang's restore file. Not 100% sure, just wanted to make sure you guys knew.
This may actually be something that we have to dig into more. With the DH SC APIM, it made me use USB. However, trying to get the USB files for @bbowes9 it didn't. Maybe because it is the same modules. However, funnily enough, it updates my GWM fine, but for his GWM update, it required him...
I second the “Let your car break in first”. If you’re putting only 93 in your car, it’s a very nice feel at stock. There was a bit of delay for throttle response for me. I’ve purchased both Shoemaker and Wengerd tunes. Shoemaker was ok, nice get up and go, but wasn’t quite as aggressive as I...
Pretty sure this can be pulled up in Oasis/PTS as well. However, if you are looking for the window sticker, CARFAX car care (free) gives you the ability to download it, or at least it did for mine.
